I’m Travis - I design and build things to make the world better.
I’m a Mechanical Engineer, machinist, and maker. I have a deep passion for creative, thoughtful, and always sturdy mechanical design. My company is comprised of a prototype machine shop, team of remote designers, analysts and draftsmen, and strategic manufacturing partners in Central Texas and beyond.

I’ll team up with you and begin the New Product Development process, one I’ve been honing through years of trial and error. I help creative and entrepreneurial people turn an idea into a product that works.
Napkin sketches into reality. Honest feedback on the idea itself. Models, drawings, logos, brochures, 3D prints, and of course, the final product. I‘ll be the shot of adrenaline into your creative cortex. The gung-ho compadre on your chaotic adventure. The cloud seeder in your brainstorm. The optimistic-realist that says “OK…but what if we try this….?” The this part is where I like to exist - Its an injection of something new and exciting into the world.
I’ll be your biggest fan and your harshest critic, because that is what you need if you’re going to make something truly fantastic.

Machining and Fabrication
You have prints, models, or a product or part to be made. I’ll build them for you at a competitive rate and on time. My specialties are one-off parts and small production runs.

I might not be able to make it on my machines or handle your quantities in the time you need them. I maintain relationships with local Texas shops that have more capacity and specialty equipment.

I have 12+ years of corporate experience as a classical Mechanical Design Engineer, Engineering Manager, and Project Manager in Oil & Gas, Automation, and Industrial Packaging industries.
I love tackling a new challenge and want to see if I can help your project!
I've personally designed PDM bearing and drive systems that are drilling wells right now, and spend lots of time dealing with O&G downhole tool design of all kinds. I enjoy making tools that can drill, monitor, locate, communicate, repair, analyze and exist in a 3" to 8" hole a few miles down in the bowels of hell.
I can augment your existing team with mine and my team’s experience. This can get you through an engineering resource bottleneck or as part-time support during project or employee transitions. Think of it as having an engineering mercenary team on your payroll.
